Montgomerie Links Vietnam located in central part of Vietnam, very close to Danang City and historic ancient Hoi An town. It is considered as one of Asia’s ten most elite courses. It has been designed to capitalize on its close proximity to the warm, tranquil East Sea and famed Marble Mountains, which are clearly visible from various points on the 18-hole course. The 2012 Forbes Travel Guide rated Montgomerie Links as one of Asia’s ten most elite courses. It has been designed to capitalize on its close proximity to the warm, tranquil East Sea and famed Marble Mountains, which are clearly visible from various points on the 18-hole course. The over-arching design philosophy behind all of Colin Montgomerie’s designs is to work closely with natural characteristics of each site. Montgomerie Links Vietnam has many truly outstanding natural features. The sandy soil, wind-blown dunes, and indigenous vegetation combine to create the framework for a very strong links-style golf course that caters to players of all abilities and is a sheer delight to play. Although the course doesn’t officially have a signature hole, the stunning par-5 12th is truly memorable. Playing slightly uphill to a bunker-riddled fairway, the hole is framed by the clubhouse in the background and has been described as the best par-5 in Vietnam.

A fascinating course, caddies are super friendly and knowledgeable! The bunkers of which are there are many bite! If your offline, watch out! The course could do with a 'signature hole'; i'm sure it will evolve and mature as the years go by.

Great course, challenging yet not overly difficult for someone of my playing ability. Due to heavy morning rain, I was required to walk the course. My caddie # 171 was fantastic thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the company of the 3 Korean gentleman I played with. I'll be back.

A well maintained course spoiled s a little by the neighboring construction and properties which are not at al screened off. A much shorter course than I expected, drains really well after heavy rain. We drove to the course in very heavy rain expecting not to play and had 1 and a half holes of showers, then sunshine. I think it is a little over-priced for what you get against international standards, but in Vietnam there is not a great deal of choice. Caddies were excellent, engaging and knowledgeable about the course.Less
